Two-Bite Brownie: Package Redesign

I selected Original Two-Bite Brownies as the focus of this sustainable packaging redesign project, which challenged me to rethink how the everyday snack is presented and consumed. Aiming to reduce environmental impact, I explored alternative eco-friendly materials and reimagined the structural design to minimize excess packaging while maintaining the product’s freshness and shelf appeal.

Challenge

The challenge was to redesign the packaging for a food product using sustainable materials in a hypothetical scenario.

Look & Feel

The branding of Evergreen Craft Ales creates a visually appealing and memorable impression. The use of evergreen trees and the green color scheme effectively conveys the brewery’s connection to nature, Ottawa, and its commitment to producing high-quality craft beer. The simple and clean design adds to the overall appeal and makes the brand easily recognizable.

Two-Bite & its competitors

wo-Bite is a popular brand known for its bite-sized, indulgent desserts made for convenient snacking and sharing. Its flagship product, the Two-Bite Brownie, features a soft, fudgy texture with a crisp outer edge and rich chocolate flavor. They are sold in resealable pouches and containers of various sizes. Two-Bite competes with brands like Hostess, Little Debbie, and Entenmann’s.

Target Audience

Two-Bite Original products appeal to a wide audience, including kids, teens, and adults who enjoy convenient, bite-size snacks. The brand targets families, individuals, and social hosts who value shareable quick snacks. Its customers span urban and rural areas, with geographic reach shaped by product availability across various regions and markets.

Sales Pitch

This packaging design takes a sustainable, reusable approach while preserving Two-Bite’s recognizable brand identity. Inspired by a chip bag, it features a brown paper exterior and a recyclable clear plastic liner. The logo is creatively cut to highlight the “bite” concept, and the color palette stays true to the original. Materials like PLA and HDPE are used to enhance its eco-friendly appeal.
